Okay, this project is by far my favorite thing I could ever make and have ever made with paper and ribbon. I was able to find this cute lamp base at the thrift shop and then just picked up a small drum shade to go with it. I loved every part of creating this project. And I'm the most sad that I don't get this one back!

Anna, this lamp is fabulous. I don't even want to know how hard it was to interweave the ribbon in that cool pattern, but you should definitely recreate this for yourself. Absolutely love it!!
ReplyDeleteLook at the perfect weaving..what patience! and it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt took my eye a second before I realized what you had done and done so with RIBBON. Seam Binding is my favorite but I also know it has to be handled with a gentle touch. Adorable project, beautifully made!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique use of ribbon! Beautiful.
