Blog Hop: The Great Outdoors

What a great theme for August.  Seems like summer is all about being outside.  I have loved just hanging out in a lounge chair in my front (or back) yard.  I love the warmth that summer brings, and I love to enjoy it in a comfy chair.

For this hop I chose to focus on the beauty of the outdoors.  And flowers are what do it for me :) I have also been obsessed with layering stamps.  For this card I used the new dictionary background stamp in Pool Party and then the Wildflowers back ground stamp with markers.  I stamped the humming bird separate and cut it out and stuck it on with a dimensional. It was super quick and easy!

Head on over to Tanya's blog next!

  1. Beautiful! I love that little strip of DSP on the card, it finishes it off perfectly!

  2. I love this!! The dictionary stamp for the background adds the right touch- the flowers are lovely! :)

  3. I too love layering stamps! I didn't even realize we had that dictionary stamp. I may just have to add it to my list! Great card!

  4. What a pretty card! I think I like the Dictionary background even more than the original polka dots. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Love the dictionary background! The DSP strip and ribbon are a beautiful touch!
