2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop: Day 10

Okay, this project is by far my favorite thing I could ever make and have ever made with paper and ribbon.  I was able to find this cute lamp base at the thrift shop and then just picked up a small drum shade to go with it. I loved every part of creating this project.  And I'm the most sad that I don't get this one back!

SUPPLIES:

Lamp from Thrift Store
Shade From Hardware Store
Baja Breeze Seam Binding
Calypso Coral 3/8” Ruffled Ribbon
Lucky Limeade 3/8” Ruffled Ribbon
Tea for Two DSP
Modge Podge
Hot Glue

2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop: Day 9

Well, I saved the best for last.  I have known since February that I'd put in for the contest...and somehow the 3D items came first to me.  My ultimate favorite project will be tomorrow.
I know wreaths are all the rage this year.  So I figured I'd do a wreath with an assortment of flowers on them.  I tore the fabric, so each strip has a worn edge, then I dyed white bakers twine Calypso Coral and stitched it along the edge.  I completely loved the effect that had.  I went through and tried to find all the tutorials I could on paper flowers and then picked my favorites.  I think the most time consuming part of this project was the stitchings. The rest of it went pretty quick.

2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop: Day 8

This is the last of the scrapbook pages. I was totally loving the washi tape for this one.  I haven't used it much.  But I'm really happy with the effect it had on this page.

There isn't much to say on these scrapbook pages.  I didn't use any special techniques on them.  I did however use Split Coast Stampers' Sketch challenges for my layout ideas thought.  I have a hard time coming up with great picture and element placement....so I found my inspiration there for these.

SUPPLIES:
Epic Day This & That DSP
Pool Party Cardstock
Smokey Slate Cardstock
Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker
Epic Day This & That Washi Tape
Daffodil Delight ¼” Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Sticky Strip
